烤羊肉串 | Oven Lamb Skewers | Kao Yang Rou Chuan
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless lamb leg (makes 4 skewers)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes (I used Korean hot pepper flakes)
Preparing the Lamb
- Cut the lamb into roughly 1/2 inch cubes.
- Add salt, cumin, and chili flakes and mix.
- Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight.
Directions
- Skewer the lamb cubes.
- Put the skewers on a pan with edges so the lamb is elevated.
- Broil on low for 5-7 minutes (depending on your oven). Flip. Broil for another 5-7 minutes.
- Enjoy!
Note: If you have a grill with actual fire, you can use that instead of the oven!
