糖醋排骨 | Sweet and Sour Ribs
Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs pork ribs
- 1 ping-pong size ginger, sliced
- 1 star anise
- 2 tablespoons shaoxing (or rice) cooking wine
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons black vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
Directions
- Add ginger and pork to the pan. Cook until the water released from the pork evaporates.
- Add star anise, cooking wine, soy sauce, black vinegar, and mix. Cover to cook for ~10 minutes.
- Flip the meat, then cover and cook for another ~5 minutes.
- Add sugar and stir it in. After the sugar dissolves, the ribs are ready!
